“So, I heard you met someone,” Flower said to her sister, with an emphasis on someone.
“I’ve met lots of someones,” Butterfly replied, not even looking up.
Flower simply whispered an ‘um hum’ with a grin. She knew her sister would say something when she was ready, and later that day, Butterfly finally said something on the topic of someone.
“I don’t know if it’s going to become anything, okay? Don’t get your hopes up.”
Flower just sighed. “But I already have!”
The two went to the Humor and Hijinks festival not that long after.
